xeum : dj and producer Discovering electronic music as a child, it was later in his teens when Xeum started mixing and producing music using any gear that was available. Producing his earliest tracks using only a CD player and sequencer, he brought the music to life with the sounds of acoustic instruments and improvisation. From mixing at garage parties, Xeum progressed to studio recordings for the likes of urban arists OxmoPuccino and Nuttea (EMI), diverse collaborations in Paris with DJ Sek (Mathematic beats, Delabel) and Dj Michael Canitrot (Pschent) behind one of Europe’s hippest parties So, Happy in Paris? In 2006, Xeum's groovy electro house remix « Fight for It » an MPI project by Studio 31, was released on South Africa’s Fracture records. Xeum opens his musical vibe through the music and sounds crossing his life. Mixing music from an early age, he played in Paris ( Batofar, Pin Up), while performing music through Europe . He setlled in Shanghai (PRC) from 2005, where he rocked the most famous clubs in Beijing : Lan and Baicai party-Tango, Jinan : Cinderella, Shanghai : Bar Rouge, VIP Room, Attica, Mao, Fabrique, Muse, Barbarossa) and supported international djs such as D'julz or Team Canada. Versatiliy might be closest way of describing Xeum s musical sensitivity as he produces and performs a very large range of music from Jazz, Lounge, House to Electronica and regularly spins for brands like Evian, Estee Lauder, Tag Heuer, Rado, Mercedes Benz, and Audi; and plays at fashion shows for Louis Vuitton, Shanghai Tang, Zegna, Hang Feng, IFA, Piombo or club openings for IMA, The House, Muse (Shanghai,PRC). Xeum has since performed all over China and Vietnam. Most recently he has produced music for a new cosmetic brand (Yes for Love) in Paris, as well as a a soundtrack for an independent short film entered in the Shanghai Short Movie Festival.
